No problems there. Yor'sahj the Unsleeping. The first round of globules will not have time to reach him before he drops. Hagara the Stormbinder. No time for a single tempest. No time for a single hour of twilight Warmaster Blackhorn. Don't forget to kill Goriona in phase 2. The ship will take massive damage so you may have to soak a couple barrages. Spine of Deathwing. The key to this fight is to sacrifice an imp for Singe Magic to dispel yourself.
Full strategy on that boss page. Madness of Deathwing. The parasites are just decorative and phase 2 lasted three chaos bolts. Bloods could not reach him in time. To sum it up, the only challenge is Heroic Spine. At level soloing the whole raid in heroic mode is going to be super easy because Spine will just tickle and the only things you'll have to worry about are the Roll mechanics.
Comment by zatos0 Whitin the current Patch 6. If you are alone, the spine will keep rolling, doesnt matter, what you are doing Let's hope for a better future :. Comment by Kibagami As of 6. Comment by Tylandredis In 6. No weapons are available aside from those dropped from the last boss, meaning LFR-skin weapons from previous bosses are still unobtainable as far as I can find.
This is really unfortunate, especially when each boss can drop any of the five tier tokens. The first wing first 4 bosses were extremely easy. They had a large health pool, but I just let my pet tank it and DPSed them down. The only mechanic I even paid any attention to was on Warlord Zon'ozz, I hit the orb back to him to clear his stacks of Focused Anger. Other than that I didn't worry about anything else at all. As for the second wing Ultraxion and on , I did not make it past Ultraxion.
Every 6 seconds I would get hit by Twilight Instability for about 22k, and, as hunter, I was not able to keep up. I died in under 1 minute. TL;DR: Wing 1 was very easily solod, while wing 2 is not possible as a hunter. I just tried again at level , and Ultraxion was doable. Not that hard, just make sure you don't use the extra action button when he casts Hour Of Twilight, because it will break the Aspect's shields, and then you will die.
Comment by plebius I know what you're thinking. You're thinking. I'm level I want my Destroyer's End title, can I do this alone? I would like to confirm that yes, my friend, yes you can, for I am an idiot, and I managed.
Now now, don't be so harsh on yourself, I hear you say. You are no idiot. However, I would like to assure you that I am, in that I accidently had the raid on 25m for the first four encounters without noticing and still managed to flail my way through.
This was attempted on a level ele shaman on 10 man normal 25 man normal by accident on some bits , although any class should manage with minimal wipes. Morchok Tank and spank Warlord Zon'ozz Keep the ugly fat man on top of the floaty ball.
A top-down camera view is recommended. Don't miss the floaty ball or he will sit on you. Phase one: Hit the fat man a lot, wait til he makes purple electric happen, this means a ball is coming. Move the fat man to the ball. The ball will swerve around a lot like your friend last new year's eve; keep him on top of it. Don't worry about dps too much here. Phase two: the world goes black and you burn him down.
Phase three: he falls over and doesn't move Yorsahj Clear slimes beforehand, hit boss in face. Hagara Fairly straightforward tank and spank with a couple of things to watch out for. In one phase she shields herself and you're relegated to the edge of the platform and you move clockwise round it blasting stuff out of the sky. There's also an Ice Tomb she casts on you, and a water shield she casts on herself, that you'll just have to wait out both times, so bring a good book.
Ultraxion Hit boss in face before Hour of Twilight happens. Blackhorn Sometimes men on dragons jump on the ship. You have to kill them after they land, not before, or it bugs out. Kill the dragons that land, and say hello to Blackhorn. Spine of Deathwing If you're an idiot like me, this will take a few goes. When you land there will be four tentacles. Dead tentacles spit out Corrupted Blood and occasionally larger elementals. The idea is that you kill Corrupted Blood as close to the front of Mr Deathwing as you can, and then kill the larger elementals on top of their little dead bodies.
A backplate will pop up, you shoot a tendon, the backplate flies off the dragon, you move forward, rinse and repeat four times. However, you need to be constantly strafing side to side while you do this, else Deathwing will throw you off.
Instant cast spells are a blessing here, but the longest you should be standing still is about the length of one cast. In short, small red, big red, stringy thing, keep moving. This video was most useful. Madness of Deathwing You fly between platforms hitting Deathwing's feet. When you kill a foot a tentacle appears. Kill the tentacle. Deathwing's face will appear, kill that too.
Congratulations, you have gained the title Destroyer's End , you clever sausage. God, that one long Twilight's Hammer theme. Comment by akhtor Been doing LFR for 3 weeks now, still got only bags with gold, no other loot at all, no transmog.
This loot system is sick! Comment by Rakkasan Looks like Blizz made the legacy raids harder after this week's reset. This week I can;t get past Ultraxion - it's not even close. Comment by Caelus Soloing 25H as a kitty level is doable, even relatively easy, only major difficulty is Deathwing at the end. Kill the adds before jumping on Zon'ozz and Yor'sahj. Spine is awfully tedious, but you'll make it through.
The same as it is on Normal, but it hits harder. Onto Deathwing - Hit things, make sure you're casting Healing Touch on procs and keeping Rejuvenation handy. At Phase Two when he falls onto the platform , Swipe - on Bloodtalons, preferably, because that'll one-shot them - down all the adds before going back to DPS on Deathwing.
You actually have to play along with the raid mechanics a bit, instead of following the easy burn-down-the-boss-and-ignore-everything-else strategy. You'll take a surprising amount of damage, so do keep an eye on your HP bar, and you're solid. You did the thing, you get the Savior of Azeroth title, and a whole bunch of shiny achievements. Comment by Sckhar So, is the info on loot list correct?
We can get all 3 mounts on H10? You're sure bosses drop the same amount of items and its not just a stat increase? Yes, I'm positive that the amount of drops on Normal and Heroic mode is the same. In Firelands, 25 man heroic bosses drop 6 pieces of loot. In 25 man normal they drop 5 pieces of loot. From what I can tell so far, 25 man Dragon Soul is 5 for both normal and heroic. I couldn't tell you about tier 11, I don't remember.
Never knew, it's the same amount of drops on 10 man for Normal and Heroic, so if it's different on 25 than that's pretty silly IMO. Post by Porcell And looks like it's still 6 on heroic in Dragonsoul.
Why do 25 mans get an additional drop on Heroic, and 10 mans don't? Even if they're programmed to have the same rate which they likely are , the smaller sample rate of 25 man runs on heroic as compared to normal would cause the rate reported here which is derived from player reports to be different. Post by slasher And looks like it's still 6 on heroic in Dragonsoul. They get 1 additional piece which goes in line with the blizzard idea of 25mans drop more loot per player nothing unstated by blizzard here.
Each Raid Finder raid will include two tanks, six healers, and seventeen damage dealers. As the raid is assembled, the Raid Finder will attempt to balance the group according to armor type, which should help ensure a healthy mix of melee and ranged DPS.
There are no additional invite capabilities for the raid leader or other members of the raid, however, groups of players are able to queue together, either as a party or a raid, should they wish to raid together.
A: With patch 4. You can't, however form a raid with cross-realm Real ID friends before joining the Raid Finder queue. What raids are available? The Dragon Soul raid dungeon will be available in the Raid Finder and has been split into two wings.
Players will be able to access the first wing at the release of patch 4. Deathwing will become available approximately one week later. Raid Finder is being used to help players access the most current content and tier gear available within the game. Additional options for the system may be considered in the future. Can I earn any particular currency with Raid Finder? Players can earn up to Valor points per week per wing while utilizing Raid Finder.
How often can I enter the Raid Finder system? Each boss within the Dragon Soul raid can be killed once per week for a chance at loot. Since there are no raid locks, skipping a boss will not impede your ability to attempt that boss in a future raid. Who will keep things organized? A Raid Finder raid will require someone to queue as leader. The Raid Finder leader will have a very limited set of powers and cannot change loot type, nor do they have the ability to arbitrarily kick people from the raid.
To be most successful, each Raid Finder group should have at least one leader who will explain the fights, assign raid markers, and make the tough calls, like who the main tank and off-tanks are.
How will loot be distributed? This means that if you were present for the defeat of a boss, whether you receive loot or not, then you will automatically pass on loot that drops during later attempts on that boss during the same week.
How will Raid Finder loot differ? Loot acquired through the Raid Finder, including tier set pieces, will be of a lower item level than items acquired from normal or heroic mode versions of the Dragon Soul raid, and its appearance may differ.
Also, there are certain items, as well as components for legendary weapons, which will not drop in Raid Finder raids. While individual bosses will not yield Valor Points as they would in other versions of the raid, you can still earn Valor Points for beating the final boss in each wing of the instance.
Tier armor that drops in Raid Finder raids still provides set bonuses, and those bonuses are compatible with the higher item level versions of the armor available in the normal and heroic mode versions of the raid.
None of these tier sets will be available for purchase from a vendor via Valor Points. Will there be an item level requirement to use the Raid Finder? Will the Raid Finder be cross-realm? Yes, the Raid Finder will draw players from all realms. As with the Dungeon Finder, it will place some priority on grouping players from the same realm, though not at the cost of increased queue times.
What kind of raid composition will the Raid Finder create? As the raid is assembled, the Raid Finder will attempt to balance the group according to armor type, which should help ensure a healthy mix of melee and ranged dps. Why player only? A player group is actually easier and faster to fill than a smaller group would be, and allows for greater flexibility in raid creation, all of which will help contribute to lower queue times. Also, player raids are less subject to issues with composition or player connectivity.
The Raid Finder version of the Dragon Soul raid will be designed with pick-up raiding in mind. Normal and heroic difficulties will require the greater organization and teamwork found in guild raid groups. Will I be locked to a raid I join through the Raid Finder? Since the Raid Finder only offers access exclusively to a specially tuned version of the Dragon Soul raid instance, instance locks will not be enforced for that version.
Instance locks will still be enforced for the normal and heroic versions of the raid. Can I queue with my friends in a party or raid?
Yes, you can queue for the Raid Finder individually, in a party, or in a raid. The Raid Finder can be a great tool to help fill those last few slots in a raid. The Raid Finder is intended to help players experience the current tier of content.
