For the uninitiated few that have no clue who Sarah Phillips is, or why she is the talk of the nation at the moment, I encourage you to take a minute and read through a fantastic piece by John Koblin at Deadspin. At the heart of the heavily researched piece is the question that remains largely unanswered—was an ESPN employee scamming people out of money, Twitter followers and Facebook pages? The Deadspin article paints an odd picture that is tough to discern no matter how you look at it.
Phillips is alleged to have taken a job with ESPN, and with that title, began scamming colleagues for money, Twitter prowess and Facebook pages that drove traffic.

Such as, who are Nilesh and Navin Prasad? Are they even real? Many enterprising hounds on Twitter have dug up bits of info , trying to piece together who exactly this woman is. LBS reached out to Phillips but she declined to comment at the moment.
She did go on a Twitter binge Tuesday evening in an attempt to give her side of the story. Follow saintfrankly Follow abcgrandstand. Want to get these clips in podcast form? Subscribe here or Add to iTunes. Good day, mate, how are you?
SEAN: It is a bit that way. It seems to have been caught up in a pretty big Twitter scandal and a big scandal in incident, anyway. SEAN: It effectively has been punked by the looks of it. SEAN: She was in the forums talking about the bets she was doing and things like that, and she was sort of plucked out of the forums and given an article, you know, a spot on Covers. There was a bit of murmuring of who is this Sarah Phillips?
And there was a little bit of skepticism of if she was a real person. And then why bother suing ESPN because ESPN is too big, and this poor guy believed them and handed over, added them as admins to the page, and this is a page of , Facebook fans.
