The music will keep playing but I'm unable to search for a new song. If I restart, it works again for a while. Any suggestions? Do you have any filtering on your mains cables or your USB cables? On Saturday the right deck froze while I was loading a song, I changed the Deck from Vinyl to CD and that seemed to fix the problem.
On Sunday after playing for about an hour the entire program froze and would not respond to any prompts on my controller or the VDJ software. Restarted my computer and it worked fine the rest of the evening but it was almost panic time. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. By the way I use a Toshiba laptop, about 4 years old and running windows It might be worth deleting any old plugins and reinstalling them possibly with the latest version.
They may not be going into the correct plugin folder. I'd recommend being frugal when using plugins.. Plugins may not run very well as a deck effect, running them as a master effect may be better?
This might involve moving the plugin. It's a can of worms. Bottom line.. I think crashes are coming from the plugins. Now getting sporadic static in the sound. Couldn't believe it!!! I am just getting started with the VJD8. I fired the program up for the first time today. Brand new TV Brand new Wiring Macbook Pro. As soon as I go through VDJ8 the videos freeze. The audio continues This process started today at 7am.
It is now 12 hours later. I have spent all day on these threads and the frustration is growing as there seems to be no solution. I have a video requirement at a gig in two weeks and am seriously freaking out now! What is really strange is that the videos seem to play well only on one side of the deck What that tells me is that it is not anything in my video card or specs.
VDJ freeze and cannot kill the process. Forced to restart my pc at the button. I start the program and it will be fine but then intermittently the program will close and then open right back up. Then it could close again and open right back up. Sometimes the song keeps playing or sometime it will completely stop. Then my side lists or automix list are gone.. Using windows 10 i5 processor.
I have VDJ on 10 other computers with own licenses with same specs and no problems. In case you are using some USB sound card e. Are you using any 3rd DMX Plugins? If so, can you try to remove them and see if you still get the crash?
The best solution for me is to fall back to version I think these stem features though awesome by the way are causing the problem.
